To top off the awesomeness of this weapon it also comes with a high chance to hit with Crushing Blow a move that deals a % based damage of the enemies current HP in damage. Keep in mind that the -% to Lightning Resistance only works for the character equipping it, so it'll work for your Mercenary with the Chain Lightning proc but not for you if you're a Trapsin, Lightning Sorceress or Javazon.
Any build that deals elemental damage (Poison, Physical and Mage are not elemental) will benefit from the Conviction Aura in this weapon since it'll decrease the enemies resists to your abilities. Infinity is one of the more useful Rune Words to use on a Mercenary due to the built in Conviction Aura.
